This was a three year in-house build all except upholstery on this beautiful 57’ Chevy. The full off restoration started with an upgraded chassis from Art Morrison Engineering designed to accept the Corvette LS9 Supercharged V-8 power plant. The LS9 pushes somewhere north of 600 hp through a Tremec 6sp gearbox to the rear wheels. To handle that, there is modern adjustable coil over suspension, front and back, power rack and pinion steering, Willwood disc brakes and a multi-link Ford 9in. rear axle. Under the hood there is lots of polished billet and all hoses are steel braided for the cooling system, fuel, power steering, oil, and the A/C system.
The interior sports front seats and console from a late model Lexus, done in full leather in a two-tone grey color. The pattern is designed to mimic what Mercedes-Benz uses in their AMG Desingio trim package with a perforated diamond pattern throughout. Modernized digital dash gauges are set in the stock Chevy cluster, and Vintage Air A/C is built into the dash. The Interior and trunk is done in a upgraded grey carpet with Chevy Crests sown into the matching floor mats.
The outside color is a deep black with heavy metallic content in silver and blue opal that goes well with minimal chrome trim and Torque Thrust style polished alloy wheels.
